Terms of Service

The short version: your music is yours, only upload what's yours to upload, and keep your own backups. The longer version follows. Using Songwright means you agree to it.
Your music stays yours
You keep every right to the demos, lyrics, and artwork you upload. By uploading, you give us only the narrow permission we need to run the service: storing your files and streaming them to you and to people opening a share link you enabled. We don't use your music for anything else, and we don't train anything on it.
What you agree not to do
Don't upload music or images you don't have the rights to. Don't upload anything illegal. Don't resell access to the service, scrape it, hammer it with automated traffic, or try to get around storage and file-size limits. Accounts that do these things can be suspended or closed.
Share links
A share link you turn on can be heard by anyone who has the link — that's the point, so send it to people you trust. You can turn a link off at any time and it stops working immediately. You're responsible for what you share and who you send it to.
Backups and availability
We work to keep Songwright fast and available, but it's provided as-is, without warranties, and we can't promise it will never go down or lose data. Treat the bounce on your own drive as the master copy — Songwright is where demos live and get heard, not your only backup. To the maximum extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you've paid us for the service.
Limits
Storage and per-file size limits exist and are shown in the upload area. They may change as the service grows; if they do, the upload area will say so.
Copyright complaints
If you believe something shared through Songwright infringes your copyright, email support@songwright.ai with the share link and details, and we'll review and remove infringing material.
Leaving
Delete a demo and its file is deleted. Want your whole account gone? Email us and we'll remove it, files and all. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what we store.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the update appears on this page with a new date at the top. Keeping your account after a change means you accept it.
